Marleau scores, Babcock's new line comes up big a second time.

With the Toronto Maple Leafs in a bit of a slump coming off a three game losing streaking Leafs head coach made a big change to one of his top lines, and it appears to be paying off.

Babcock's decision to move veteran National Hockey League forward Patrick Marleau at center alongside Maple Leaf forwards Connor Brown and James van Riemsdyk produced Toronto's first two goals of the game.

The first goal of the game was a connection between Brown and van Riemsdyk in the first period, and after the Anaheim Ducks tied up the game in the first, Marleau scored Toronto's second goal in the game's second period.

This time Marleau simply hacked at a loose puck in front of the net, that hack was good enough to fool Ducks goaltender John Gibson and has given the Leafs the lead.
