Matt Duchene gets goal of the night as trade rumors swirl.

Colorado Avalanche forward Matt Duchene has to know by now that he is on the trading block, and it looks like he really wants to go to a top contender.

On Tuesday night Duchene and his Avalanche took on the Chicago Blackhawks and while the Avalanche would eventually lose the contest, Duchene himself had an excellent performance, notching two goals including an absolute beauty.

Roughly two thirds of the way through the second period, Duchene scored on an incredible solo effort, using a burst of speed to get around Chicago's defense, before beating goaltender Corey Crawford high on the blocker-side with a wicked snipe.

This ladies and gentlemen, is why you trade for a guy like Matt Duchene.
