It's been a tough season for Marc-André Fleury so far. The Quebecer is posting the worst numbers of his career since his rookie season and lost his #1 spot to the rookie Matt Murray.
Flower gave his team one hell of a game last night as he blocked 41 of the 43 shots but it wasn't enough for the Pens as they lost in overtime. Although Fleury's performance was stellar, his night made the news for a much more different reason as he was cut by James Van Riemsdyk's skate after an incidental contact.
Fortunately, Flower came back to the game a few minutes later.
