In the battle of Ontario between the Ottawa Senators and the Toronto Maple Leafs the fireworks began early, with an absolutely devastating hit from Ottawa's Chris Neil delivered to Toronto's Matt Hunwick.

Is was a monster hit from Neil one that left Hunwick a bloody mess but to Hunwick's credit he remained in the play and even chased down Neil with the puck despite blood appearing to be dripping down his forehead and into his face.
