There's not much to say here, this is one hit that speaks for itself.

On Saturday during a match up between the Winnipeg Jets and Buffalo Sabres we saw Buffalo Sabres defenseman Jake McCabe become public enemy number one in Winnipeg when he laid out that cities rookie superstar Patrik Laine.

McCabe caught Laine crossing center ice and delivered a massive open ice hit to the young Jet, one hard enough to make it clear that while still moving, Laine had no longer had any idea where he was.

Thankfully Laine was spotted leaving the arena under his own power.
