An ugly incident on Tuesday night has left one player seemingly badly hurt.
New Jersey Devils forward Travis Zajac went head first into the boards this evening when he was pushed by Vancouver Canucks forward Michael Chaput from behind.
While it seems fair to assume that Chaput wasn't intending to injure Zajac on this play, there's no doubt that the shove from behind is what led to the incident being as bad as it was.
It took Zajac a long time to make his way off the ice, you can see the impact in the video below.
