Player gets rocked after huge hit sends him head first into the stanchion.

Former New Jersey Devils first round draft pick Jacob Josefson took a huge shot to the head on Monday night and it wasn't a player who struck him in the head but rather a piece of the arena itself.

Buffalo Sabres defenseman Jake McCabe appeared to lay a clean hit on Josefson along the boards,but unfortunately for both players, due to their position on the ice, the hit from McCabe drove Josefson's head directly into the stanchion.

It's one more example to add to the case to get rid of this antiquated building design. one that has caused so many injuries in the past.
