The projected first overall pick in the National Hockey League Entry Draft is putting his skills on full display at the World Championship, and for many it' their first look to get a good look at the young man against top tier competition.

For fans of the Toronto Maple Leafs it's a chance to get a glimpse of what the future may hold for their organization, as most have projected that the Leafs will in fact draft Auston Matthews with their top pick.

After recording an assist on Saturday, Matthews buried this wrister top shelf with a quick release, and you can bet that this, like all his other highlights from the world Championship will be heavily scrutinized.
