Schenn takes Miller out with a leaping hit to the head.

This is going to be a tough call for the league to make.

While there is no doubt that Philadlephia Flyers forward Brayden Schenn delivered a leaping head shot to Detroit Red Wings defenseman Brendan Smith, there is a great deal of doubt about his intent.

From the angles in the video below, it almost appears as if Schenn's intent here wasn't to hit Miller at all, but rather his intent may have been to try and avoid contact altogether.

Of course this is just speculation as intent is unknown to everyone except the person taking the action, but you can watch the video and judge for yourself.
