Starting goaltender gets pulled after just 7 minutes of play.

Brutal performance on Tuesday night.

This is definitely one night that veteran goaltender Cam Talbot will want to forget about.

On Tuesday night the Edmonton Oilers netminder lasted just seven minutes and thirty-five seconds before being pulled by head coach Todd McLellan who, to his credit, did a good job of hiding the frustration he has to be feeling.

Talbot gave up two goals on the first two shots from the St. Louis Blues giving goals to both Vladimir Tarasenko and Dmitrij Jaskin, including a real softy on the second goal.

Jaskin spun and fired a shot that appeared to catch Talbot completely off-guard despite the fact that he had a clear line of sight in front of his net. After the replay was shown on the big scree McLellan immediately pulled Talbot out of the net, putting an embarrassingly quick end to his night.
