Tarasenko gets blown up behind the net.

The St. Louis Blues were not happy about this hit on their star player.

Los Angeles Kings forward Kyle Clifford absolutely leveled St. Louis Blues forward Vladimir Tarasenko behind the Kings net late during the second period of the Thursday night match up between the two teams. As for why the Blues were so upset, the hit did appear to be a little late, and Clifford did go high on Tarasenko although it did not appear from the replay angles that he was hunting for a hit on Tarasneko's head.

Tarasenko was able to laugh it off, and he went to say a few words to Clifford as he was taken to the penalty box but he had a big girn on his face when he did so. Tarasenko also responded with a big shift while Clifford sat waiting in the box.
