The Boston Bruins pulled off the most improbable comeback of the season last night against the Minnesota Wild, an emotional victory that will no doubt serve as a big springboard for the Bruins moving forward in the 2019 - 2020 National Hockey League regular season. The Bruins were down by a pair of goals with less than 2 minutes remaining in the game but managed to somehow claw their way back into it thanks to some late game heroics courtesy of veteran forward David Krejci and veteran defenseman Torey Krug.

Krejci would score back to back goals in the final minutes of the 3rd period to even up on the score and force overtime and it was in that overtime frame that Krug showed off his own heroics. It was an incredible moment not only because Krug single handedly put the Bruins on his back in overtime but also due to the fact that he did so in what was his very first game back in the line up after missing time due to injury. Krug managed to simply blow past every Wild player on the ice before eventually scoring the overtime winner and giving the Bruins the improbable comeback victory, and the all important 2 points that go along with it.

Something happened after Krug's goal however that caught the attention of many Bruins fans who were watching the game however, so much so that even the Bruins social media accounts made a note of it. I am speaking of course of the rather odd goal celebration, or celly, that Krug displayed after scoring his overtime winner, one that I must admit I had never seen before last night. It seems the Bruins themselves had no idea where it came from either as the caption for their social media on the topic simply read "We have no idea what this is. But we love it."

Well thankfully now we have an answer regarding the inspiration for this celly directly from the man behind the celly itself. On Sunday morning Krug was quick to respond to the Bruins on social media and shared a little clip of his own that makes it crystal clear where this hilarious post goal celebration originated from.
