The Tampa Bay Lightning are seemingly cursed.

The team has been riddled with injuries since the very start of the playoffs with notable players like Steven Stamkos, Anton Stralman, and Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Final appeared to bring out the full power of the curse.

The Lightning forward Tyler Johnson in the very first period when he reacted awkwardly to an incoming hit from Pittsburgh's Chris Kunitz resulting in what appeared to be a knee on knee hit, one that left Johnson down on the ice.

The knee on knee did not appear to be intentional, and if anything it seems like Johnson was more responsible for that outcome than Kunitz was. To make matters worse the Lightning also lost goaltender Ben Bishop later in the evening.
