For a select few National Hockey League teams the World Cup of Hockey has been a nail bitter as they hope and pray that their players will coast through the tournament without incident, but unfortunately in a game as physical as hockey injuries will take place.

One of the big high profile names absent from the line up on Monday was that of defenseman Aaron Ekblad and it was revealed later in the evening that he has suffered a "mild concussion" although how mild that type of injury can be considered in a tournament like this is unclear. No one would be surprised to see Ekblad miss the rest of the tournament at the request of the Panthers.

However it was unclear how exactly the injury occurred, but now we have a very unique look at the hit that laid Ekblad low, captured on a camera that was worn by an on-ice official at the World Cup.

It provides a great angle of the hit, which unfortunately does nothing to diminish the severity of it on Ekblad.
