Andersen's incredible pad save

Michael Grabner fires a shorthanded one-timer on net, but Frederik Andersen sticks out his left pad to make a sensational save in the 1st. "Today would have been a good one to win for [Frederik Andersen]. Freddie had done everything for us, it would have been nice if we'd scored some goals for him." said head coach Mike Babcock on his goalie Frederik Andersen.

Andersen made the save of the night on Michael Grabner. Just a filthy pad save! "I saw he was passing it back, and I don't think [Grabner] put it where he wanted to," Andersen said. "I didn't get very far over, but he put it right on my pad.

On the other side of the rink, the King Henrik Lundqvist seemed pretty happy about the win as he described the game as "fun" and "challenging". "It was a fun game, pretty challenging game," Lundqvist said. "They're a pretty tricky team with a lot of skill up front; we knew that going into this game. But in the end, going into overtime, I do have a short memory, but I definitely remember losing in a shootout (on Tuesday) against [the Montreal Canadiens 3-2] at home. I didn't want to come up short here twice in two days, so it felt really important to come up with a win."
