AUSTIN CZARNIK’S FIRST GOAL

If you recall, Czarnik made the official season-debut roster, but was sent down two games in once Patrice Bergeron was cleared to play again. He was then called up for yesterday’s game, and netted himself a goal. Nice start for the rookie. His shot hit Henrik Lundqvist on his top right shoulder and trickled in, giving the Bruins a 2-0 lead.

David Krejci took the liberty of picking up the puck as a souvenir for his first ever NHL goal.

Austin Czarnik has proven himself to be quite useful with his playing ability, despite his small build. His size and speed have come in handy when piercing the offensive zone to create chances. In two games with the Providence Bruins this season, Czarnik netted one goal and two assists.
