The Montreal Canadiens fan base got a live look at just how devastating a shot from their new defenseman Shea Weber can truly be.

Weber scored the opening goal of the match up between the Philadelphia Flyers and Canadiens on Monday night and he did so in truly unbelievable fashion. After a feed from teammate Alexander Radulov Weber fired a rocket from the point, one that would strike the stick of Flyers' forward Brayden Schenn causing it quite literally to explode.

The puck didn't just break Schenn's stick either, there was still enough force left behind it for the puck to make it's way all the way into the Flyer's net beating goaltender Steve Mason.

Have a look.
