Maybe a few too many?

Woman twerks on the glass at TD Garden in the middle of an NHL game.

Fans who attended the Saturday night matchup between the New Jersey Devils and the Boston Bruins were in for quite the surprise, however I am not entirely sure the parents who attended the game with their children would describe it so kindly.

Fans at TD Garden on Saturday were witnesses to one of the strangest things I have ever seen go down at a National Hockey League game in my life when a seemingly random woman walked up to the glass in the middle of the play and began to put on a show of her own. The unidentified woman walked up to the glass and stood on what appeared to be a pink toolbox that was either placed against the boards or perhaps was placed there by the woman herself. The woman then proceeded to do what I can only describe as a twerk on the glass, something she seemed to be very proud of given how long this appeared to go on for.

I think it is safe to describe the reaction from the fans in attendance as a mixed one, there were some cheers from the crowd, some boos that probably came from those parents I mentioned earlier, and as you can see in the video below there were some fans who just found the entire thing to be hysterical. It is unclear what exactly motivated this woman to get up there and begin putting on her little performance, but if I was a betting man I would suspect that there very likely was alcohol involved in some way here.

There are now multiple videos of this incident making the rounds on social media, and no doubt the woman in the video is going to end up getting a lot more attention for her actions on Saturday night that she would have expected. Then again I think it is safe to say that the kind of person that would get up and do this in the middle of an NHL game, and then would continue to do so while play was ongoing, is probably looking for attention in the first place, so hopefully she won't mind too much.

First here is a video shot from a distance during a faceoff:

And here is another angle as unsurprisingly many fans pulled their phones out as this was happening.
