Young NHL goalie gives up 2 goals in under 30 seconds in his debut.

A young National Hockey League goaltender has just had a nightmare debut this season.

Playing in just the second game of his NHL career, Winnipeg Jets goaltender Eric Comrie was lit up for two goals in under 30 seconds on Thursday night, putting his team in a big hole early.

The Jets were facing off against the Florida Panthers at the BB & T Center when after just under 3 minutes of play Florida Panthers defenseman Mark Pysyk found the back of the net. His goal was followed up just 29 seconds later when another Panthers defenseman, Aaron Ekblad, buried another goal for Florida.

Unfortunately for Comrie his only other NHL games wasn't much better. That games was played last season and he finished that game with a 4.05 goals against average and a .897 save percentage.

While it would be easy to dismiss Comrie as simply a bad goaltender, the kid is only 22-years-old and has been putting up very good numbers in the American Hockey League with the Manitoba Moose. Perhaps he just needs to get over his jitters when it comes to playing in the big league.
