Brutal report emerges from Arizona Coyotes locker room.

The players are reacting to the news of relocation and it looks horrible for the Arizona Coyotes.

The National Hockey League has a bit of an ugly fiasco on their hands, and it sounds like things may get worse before they start to get better.

On Friday night, news began to leak out that indicates the Arizona Coyotes will be relocated to Salt Lake City, Utah at the end of the 2023-24 regular season. The news shocked the hockey world and former players quickly began to express their displeasure at how this has been handled by both the Coyotes and the National Hockey League, but that feeling may not extend to the players in the Coyotes locker room.

As news of this has come down the Coyotes have been playing some of their best hockey of the season, beating Pacific Division power houses the Vancouver Canucks and Edmonton Oilers in back to back to games, and there may be a good reason the players suddenly find themselves so motivated.

According to a report from Bally Sports' Andy Strickland, players in the Coyotes locker room are reportedly overjoyed at the news that their stay at Mullet Arena is finally coming to an end, with the players allegedly excited to pack their bags and head to Utah.

It's hard to believe that players would be particularly excited at the prospect of having to pick up their lives and move to a different state, but perhaps the situation in Arizona and at Mullet Arena is even worse than what many of us have imagined. It may also be the case that the prospect of having stable ownership for the first time since the team moved to Arizona in 1996 is enough to have the players excited about the future.
