The Vancouver Canucks were coming off a big win against the Blues and were hoping to make it two in a row, unfortunately, the Avalanche had other plans. The Colorado Avalanche took care of the Canucks with a big 7-3 win. Matt Duchene, Jerome Iginla and Tyson Barrie each had 3 points in the win. It was one heck of a way to welcome back Semyon Varlamov back to the lineup. Vancouver led 2-1 after 1 period but then the Avs turned it on scoring the next 4 goals. A positive for the Canucks was that the Sedin line continued picking up points with each member of the line with one point and Daniel with 2. The Canucks will now head home for a 4 game home stand having lost 2 of 3 on the road. First up are the Capitals on Sunday.
