Carlyle unhappy with Leafs defencemen

Toronto Maple Leafs coach Randy Carlyle is asking a lot of his players. He feels like he's not getting enough from one defencemen, Jake Gardiner. The Minnesota native is having a lot of ice-time but coach Carlyle is frustrated with what he's receiving from the 24 years-old player. According to Randy Carlyle, Gardiner is an all-world skater with great offensive instincts who sometimes seems unwilling to engage, unwilling to get dirty. What do you think of the coach's comments?
