Pastrnak and several young bruins players were competing this past week at the preseason tournament in Antioch, Tenn., where they faced fellow NHL prospects from the Predators,Lightning and Panthers. Bruins coach Claude Julien who was in attendance for the first two games was quite impressed. “That first game, he showed a lot of skill,” Julien said. “He was probably the best player out there. In the second game, not as much, but the first game really showcased what he’s all about. There’s a reason to be excited about the future of that player.” The 25th overall draft pick in June, undoubtedly is the most intriguing member of the Bruins 2014 rookie class. Pastrnak will have the chance to show more of his skills at the bruins camp starting Thursday in Wilmington, Mass.
