Where is Daniel Alfredsson?

Daniel Alfredsson is not skating at the Joe Louis Arena anymore. Detroit GM Ken Holland told sources that Alfredsson would feel good, then push it and have a setback. He was frustrated with his on-ice progress as he was not able to get to the point that he can practice with the team. The Red Wings want to make sure that they give him all the time he needs. If Alfredsson cannot regain his strength, it looks like he might retire. A decision on his future may come shortly.
