A first in the NHL!

The Calgary Flames played the Montreal Canadiens on Sunday at the Bell Center. A remarquable feat occurred during that game. It is believe to be the first time in the NHL a team dressed three players from Switzerland in the lineup. Forward Sven Baertschi, defencemen Raphael Diaz and goalie Jonas Hiller are all from Switzerland. Coach Bob Hartley appreciates the Swiss style, having coached in Zurich, Switzerland, for over a year. It is a first in the NHL and it seems to be working for the Flames.
