Flyers trim down preseason roster.

Now four games into the preseason the Flyers have announced several cuts to their roster. The Flyers placed three players on waivers today, forward Andrew Gordon and defensemen Brandon Manning and Oliver Lauridsen all with the intent of being sent down to the AHL's Leigh Valley.  They also assigned Darroll Powe and Taylor Leier to the Leigh Valley Phantoms, both players are forwards. With those cuts The Flyers are now down to 28 players which includes 16 forwards 9 defensemen and 3 goaltenders. They will need to get down to the 23 player maximum by Oct 7th which means more cuts are yet to come.
