The Emilen/Lucic saga continues on. Both players were after each other during most of the game but a penalty with under 2 minutes to go to Milan cost the Bruins the game, Montreal scored an empty net power play goal to make it 6-4. Clearly you could see how unhappy Lucic was about the penalty, as Emelin dumped the puck into the Bruins' zone, he turned and Lucic ended up hitting him somewhat from behind and referee Tim Peel decided to call it a penalty. Then Milan went on to get tossed out of the game for giving to Peel once he came out of the box. The Bruins ran out of steam in the thrid, 2 games in 2 nights will do that, especially versus two rivals. The game started out with lots of intensity from both teams. On the positive side, Chara and newcomer Gagne both scored their 1st goals of the season and Torey Krug got his first point of the season and was a plus 3 despite the loss. Boston also had their highest goal total of this young season. Boston now heads into Buffalo to take on the struggling Sabres. Now that their offense has got going, Buffalo better get ready, an angry Milan is never fun to deal with!
