Last night's game between the Edmonton Oilers and Winnipeg Jets was certainly a nail-bitingly close affair. With the Oilers up 2-1 with less than 3 minutes remaining, all the Oilers had to do was hang on for dear life.
Unfortunately for the Oil, they simply could not stop the onslaught as the Jets Dustin Byfuglien scored with just 3 minutes remaining in the game to force Overtime.
It took only 17 seconds for the game to be decided in the extra frame as the Jets Mathieu Perreault deflected a shot past Ben Scrivens for the victory.
For the Oilers it marked their 11th straight loss, and Craig MacTavish looked simply flabbergasted by the heartbreaking loss.
His face really says it all:
We feel your pain Craig.
