Rangers could be very active at trade deadline

The window for the Rangers seems to be now so I doubt Glen Sather will be holding back. The reigning Eastern Conference champs are hoping to get back to the Stanley Cup Finals. One of the main depth issues is at center. Two names that have been mentioned have been Antoine Vermette, but there seem to be many teams interested so the price might be too much for Vermette. Another name that is floating around is David Legwand. Legwand has been having a tough season in Ottawa so he will probably a lot cheaper and he is the type of veteran that coach Alain Vigneault likes. Obviously these are all rumors, but if we use past years as an example, Sather has never been one to shy away from a big trade.
