The Pittsburgh Penguins are a team known to have tons of firepower, yes there have been injuries, but when you have Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin in your lineup, you will probably score.
However, there is an odd trend going on in the month of February so far. In the games played, they have all been shutouts. Unfortunately Pittsburgh has not recorded all 4 of them. They shutout the Flames and Oilers back to back and then were shutout by Nashville and Vancouver.
Pittsburgh next game is a big one against the Detroit Red Wings who are 3 points ahead in the standings right now.
Hopefully the Pens will continue the streak in their favor or break the streak and pick up the two points.
