23-year-old center headed to the waiver wire on Monday.

There appears to be just a single transaction on the waiver wire today and it comes from the Minnesota Wild.

The Wild have announced that 23-year-old center Tyler Graovac has been placed on waivers via their official website, this after Graovac has appeared in 45 games for the organization this season.

Graovac was the Wild's 7th round draft pick in 2011 and this was by far his longest stint in the National Hockey League having only appeared in 5 games for the Wild prior to this season.

Graovac certainly isn't what you would consider an elite center, but he has provided the Wild with useful and reliable depth up the middle picking up 6 goals this season and earning a respectable plus minus rating of +4.

While we expect Graovac will slip through the waiver process, this late in the season you can never know which teams feel they might need more depth at a key position in the NHL.
