The New York Rangers got some good news on Monday.

After losing 23-year-old forward Mika Zibanejad earlier in the season to a major injury, the Rangers learned that the young forward is set to make his return to the lineup on Tuesday when the Rangers take on the Dallas Stars.

Zibanejad suffered a broken leg(fibula) back in mid November during the overtime period of a 3-2 loss shootout loss to the Florida Panthers, and was at the time projected to miss six to eight weeks with the injury.

This announcement would appear to put him on the early side of that assessment, which is of course great news for the Rangers. The former Senators first round draft pick had 5 goals and 10 assists in 19 games for the Rangers prior to suffering the injury.
