Any takers?
This just in, the Vancouver Canucks have placed 25 year old defenseman Jett Woo on waivers today.
If Woo clears waivers he'll be assigned to the team's AHL affiliate Abbotsford Canucks.
The former 2nd round pick (37th overall in 2018) was once one of the Canucks' top prospects, but has stalled in development the past few seasons. At 25 years old and with plenty of opportunities to progress to the next level, it looks like Woo will be a career minor-leaguer. Still, maybe a fresh start in a new organization will give him more of an opportunity?
Woo put up two goals and 18 points in 67 games with the AHL Canucks last season and helped the team win the 2025 Calder Cup as AHL champions.
