The Chicago Blackhawks have announced that forward Bryan Bickell has been placed on waivers, for the 2nd time this season.
Bicker who gets paid a gigantic $4.5million per year hasn't scored in 23 games in the nHL this season and can't get out the head coach Joel Quenneville's doghouse. If Bickell clears the waivers, he will be assigned to the AHL with the Rockford Icehogs.
According to generalfanager.com, the Blackhawks will free up to $3 million of cap space if Bickell clears waivers and plays in the NHL.
