5'8“, 180lb Nathan Walker pummels 6'2”, 205lb Brayden Pachal
The Ozzie's make 'em tough!
I've always had a soft spot in my heart for the little guys in the NHL who play a big game.
Sure, there's the likes of Martin St. Louis and Theo Fleury, but those guys were mostly skill players. Sure, they were tough in their own right but I'm talking more about guys like Rick Rypien P.J. Stock. Little water bugs with absolutely no quit. The kind of guys who would take two punches just to land one punch and who aren't afraid to take on the giants of the league.
Enter: Nathan Walker.
The 5'8", 180lb St. Louis Blues forward dropped the gloves with 6'2", 205lb Calgary Flames defenseman Brayden Pachal this evening and held his own for the majority of the fight. With an obvious reach disadvantage, Walker does a great job of using his left hand and his jab to keep Pachal at bay, before landing some hard right hands right on the button.
