He basically called out the entire Edmonton Oilers team
Hall was drafted by the Edmonton Oilers and was the number 1 overall draft pick of the 2010 NHL entry draft. The 5-years-old, played 62 games with the New Jersey Devils since he’s been traded from the Edmonton Oilers last summer. He scored 18 goals and registered 30 assists for a total of 48 points which is a normal pace for him base on his past production.
When asked “How difficult was it to watch the Oilers in the playoffs, and come on, be honest – did you want them to lose?” Hall did not take the high road.
“Uh, I wouldn’t say I wanted them to lose,” began Hall. “But it was nice to finally see them maybe get eliminated."
“It’s a tough thing to describe to people. I think there’s been enough time that’s passed since the trade has happened that you finally just kind of – it is what it is now, and I’m a Devil, and I’m excited to see what we can do next season."
“So my focus these days and this summer is just becoming the best player that I can be, and show up to camp next year and help my team however I can. I’m excited that that’s in New Jersey."
How hard is it to just say “it’s in the past and I wish them all the best?" even if you don’t mean it.
