A Lifetime Ban

Remember the KHL player who started a brawl during an exhibition game 10 days ago?

 

His name is Damir Ryspaev, and he’s been banned for life due to his actions.

 

The Kontinental Hockey League reprimanded the defenseman and forbid him from appealing the decision, except:

 

“… (the ban) can be lifted following a review by the disciplinary committee of an appeal of the interested side,” as per the official statement on the KHL’s website.

 

This “infinite disqualification” should serve as a deterrent to any future player crazy enough to attempt these exploits:
