You can't make this kind of story up. In the offseason, Chicago Blackhawks' Marian Hossa, Los Angeles Kings' Marian Gaborik and Bostons Bruins' Zdeno Chara all live on Tutu street in Trencin, Slovakia. To commemorate the success of these players in the NHL, Trencin's mayor Richard Rybnickek wants to rename the street to «Stanley cup champion street». This would be a pretty big honor for three residents who are only living in the city for about two months per year. But with Hossa winning a third Stanley Cup with the Blackhawks, taking the total championships won by the three players, Gaborik winning the prestigious trophy with the Kings in 2014 and Chara with the Bruins in 2011.
