A very special moment as Noa Gaudreau watches her Mom Meredith Gaudreau make the Blue Jackets' draft pick

Last week at the NHL Draft, Meredith Gaudreau showed her strength and grace once again.

Gaudreau, the wife of Columbus Blue Jackets and Calgary Flames Johnny Gaudreau, was cheered on stage when she made the Blue Jackets' 1st round selection in honor of Johnny.

Meredith kept her composure amidst chants of 'JOHNNY HOCKEY! JOHNNY HOCKEY! and made the selection like an absolute pro. This woman's strength is off the charts. She could hide herself away from all the interviews and cameras and no one would blame her for a moment. But instead, she puts herself out there in order to preserve her husband's memory and legacy in the sport. It's truly remarkable.
