After firing their coach Bruins shake things up in goal.

The Boston Bruins made a big shift when they fired head coach Claude Julien but on Wednesday they made another shift, this time with their goaltending personnel.

The Bruins announced via their official website that goaltender Zack McIntyre has been demoted to the American Hockey League to make room for Antoine Khubodin who has been called up from the Providence Bruins.

Neither man has performed well for the Bruins, and this is likely a desperation move for Boston as they search for a way to give veteran Tuukka Rask some much deserved rest while fighting for a playoff spot.

In 8 games this season Khubodin has an .896 save percentage and a 2.69 goals against average.
