There is now a monster rumor coming directly from the floor of the 2017 National Hockey League Entry Draft.

According to a report from TSN insider Darren Dreger,  agent Pat Brisson, the man who represents Colorado Avalanche forward Matt Duchene, has been spotted having some very curious talks on the draft floor.

Dreger is reporting that Brisson had a quick chat with Avalanche general manager Joe Sakic at the end of the first round of the draft, and followed that up by having a conversation with Nashville Predators general manager David Poile.

The Predators have been connected to Duchene in the past few days, so it's no surprise that they are once again being linked to the star forward. Could David Poile once again make the biggest trade of the summer for thew second straight year?
