On Thursday, the Seattle Kraken placed forward Alex Barre-Boulet on waivers.

And that was the cue for the Tampa Bay Lightning to get him back. That’s right. Earlier this month on Oct. 10, the Bolts had placed Barre-Boulet on the waiver wire and he was claimed by the Kraken.

On Friday, the Lightning claimed him right back.

Undrafted to begin his career, Barre-Boulet made his NHL debut last season with the Lightning, scoring three goals in 15 games. He had collected one assist in Seattle before he was claimed back by his former team.

Barre-Boulet was with the Kraken for a total of 11 days, long enough to take part of the first road trip, but not long enough to make it back to Seattle to the home opener.

Meanwhile, the New Jersey Devils also placed defenseman Colton White on waivers for Friday’s action.
