Alex Biega bails out Miller with a goal line save.

Vancouver Canucks goaltender Ryan Miller was bailed out by his defensemen in a big way on Wednesday night.

With his team up one goal on the Arizona Coyotes, during the final minutes of play in the third period, Coyotes forward Oliver Ekman-Larsson put a beautiful backhand shot on net and it had Miller beat, but Ekman-Larsson would be denied.

It was defenseman Alex Biega who played the hero, somehow getting his stick into the perfect position to stop Ekman-Larsson's shot dead in it's tracks. The crowd appeared to believe Miller had made the stop, however when the replay was aired in the arena you could hear the crowd react to the great defensive play.
