It's been nearly a full month since the Detroit Red Wings have acquired two-time 40 goal scoring forward Alex DeBrincat, bringing a native son home. The trade was completed last month with the Ottawa Senators as Dominik Kubalik, Donovan Sebrango, and a conditional 1st round pick and a 4th round pick in 2024 moved to the Canadian capital city in return.

He's also stated his intentions to wear the jersey No. 93, meaning that he will be the 1st Red Wings player to do so since Johan Franzen; his career was unfortunately cut short due to concussion issues. Red Wings fans will be hoping that DeBrincat will be able to soon emulate Franzen's absolutely clutch playoff performances that they witnessed over the years.

And just as his now-current teammate Dylan Larkin did last season, DeBrincat has made the call to switch agents. However, the move came out of necessity, as his former agent in Jeff Jackson, was just named the CEO of Hockey Operations for the Edmonton Oilers.

DeBrincat is now represented by Dave Gagner, who happens to be the father of former Red Wings forward Sam Gagner; his 23 NHL clients include the likes of Quinton Byfield, Jordan Kyrou, Nick Suzuki, Aaron Ekblad and Connor Brown.

It won't be long before we catch a glimpse of DeBrincat in his new digs in Detroit!
