Alex Killorn destroys Necas with huge hit then beats the wheels off Jake Gardiner

Old time hockey, baby! Love it!

In case you missed it last night the Tampa Bay Lightning got past the Carolina Hurricanes 3-2 in overtime and it's probably safe to say that the Bolts were fired up by the inspiring play of veteran forward Alex Killorn.

Not only did Killorn have a goal and an assist on the evening, but he completed the Gordie Howe hat-trick by absolutely beating the wheels off 'Canes blueliner Jake Gardiner. Credit Gardiner for stepping up after Killorn obliterated 'Canes youngster Martin Necas, but Gardiner gets absolutely waxed but the much more experienced fighter in Killorn.
