Alex Ovechkin dances off to Livin’ La Vida Loca and his wife can’t help but laugh!

Washington Capitals captain Alex Ovechkin is enjoying the last days of the offseason. He managed to start trending on social media on Friday, when video was leaked of the superstar dancing to Ricky Martin’s Livin’ La Vida Loca during a family gathering in Russia.

Ovechkin is in front of a crowd sitting a different tables and follows the dance moves from what appears to be a screen, or maybe a game. He appears to be competing with someone else up front. 

He starts twerking his own way, which gets the crowd going, especially his wife Nastasiya Ovechkina, who cannot help but laugh at her husband.

I have to say I prefer Ovi’s moves on the ice than on the dancefloor.
