Alex Ovechkin slapped with 33 traffic tickets over the summer.

Washington Capitals forward Alex Ovechkin doesn't get to spend a great deal of time each and every year in his home country of Russia due to his busy schedule as a National Hockey League superstar, and it seems judging based on recent reports that he makes the best of it while he is there.

It seems Ovechkin is an a hurry to take care of business once he lands on home soil with a recent report from Mash Sports out of Russia revealing that Ovechkin has collected a staggering 33 traffic tickets over a single summer. That total number of violations adds up to a whopping total of 82,000 in fines, but thankfully for Ovechkin that amount is in Russian Rubles. When converted to USD, the same currency that Ovechkin's contract is paid in, that comes out to just around $1,000.

That won't even put a dent in the bank account of The Great 8 who has earned a total of over $170 million throughout his NHL career, with Ovechkin having already happily paid off 32 of those 33 traffic violations.

The officers handing out the tickets to Ovechkin likely knew as much at the time, given that Ovechkin is reported to have committed most of the infractions while driving around in his Aurus Arsenal. The vehicle is a luxury minivan that will run you an estimated $450,000 - $675,000.
