Alex Radulov sends message to fans in Montreal after signing with Dallas.

The Montreal Canadiens had to deal with the harsh reality of losing Russian star Alexander Radulov to the Dallas Stars over the week-end, and needless to say their very passionate fans have not been very happy about it.

On Monday Radulov did his best attempt at damage control when he sent out a very nice message to the fans base as well as the Montreal Canadiens organization.

From Radulov:

I want to thank the Montreal Canadiens' fans, team and organization for a great year. Your passion and energy are amazing. Thank you for making me feel like I was at home and welcome. I will never forget my time in this beautiful city. Je t'aime Montréal.

It was a nice way to depart from Radulov, however given how fresh and how disappointing his departure is, the message has been met with a great deal of negativity.
