This is a wrap on arbitration cases for the upcoming 2020-21 season as all restricted free agent players looking for an arbitrator to decide their next contact have settled with their respective team on Friday morning.

As Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet has just reported all arbitration cases for 2020-21 are now settled as the Florida Panthers and defenseman Mackenzie Weegar have agreed to a three-year deal and the New York Rangers avoided arbitration with Brendan Lemieux by inking him to two-year contract.

The Blue Shirts and Lemieux reached an agreement just prior to their arbitration meeting. The forward is now signed to two-year deal, just like his teammate Ryan Strome accepted on Thursday. According to team insider Larry Brooks of the New York Post, the deal is worth $1.55 million annually.  Brooks previously reported that Lemieux requested a $2 million salary on a two-year deal, while the Rangers countered at just over $1 million per season on the same term in their arbitration brief.

As for Weegar, the blue liner agreed to terms on a three-year, $9.75 million contract, avoiding arbitration. He will earn $2 million in the first year of his deal, $3 million in the second year, and $4.75 million in the final year.

And this is what wraps up all of the arbitration cases for the upcoming 2020-21 campaign.
