All hell breaks loose after the opening faceoff in Boston on Saturday!

The Boston Bruins and the Tampa Bay Lightning waste little time getting acquainted.

The Tampa Bay Lightning and the Boston Bruins are putting on a great game for the fans in attendance at TD Garden, with a very playoff-like atmosphere on Saturday.

Things got heated very quickly between the two sides just seconds into the game when a brawl broke out almost immediately after the game's opening faceoff. The Lightning looked like they were trying send a message early against their Atlantic division rivals but the Bruins responded in kind, not willing to give any ground or be pushed around by a potential playoff rival.

The most notable aspect of the physicality between the Bruins and Lightning was Lightning forward Pat Maroon dropping the gloves with Bruins forward Garnet Hathaway and, much like both of their teams, neither man was willing to give ground in the exchange.
